At Connecting Families MHS, we are committed to addressing the mental health disparities affecting minority populations. Poverty, systemic barriers, and distrust in healthcare have left many without the support they need. Our purpose is to bridge this gap by providing accessible, affordable, and culturally sensitive mental health services.
Our Approach
We believe in meeting people where they are. This means offering care within community settings—churches, homes, and centers—and addressing all the systems that impact our clients’ well-being. For those who value religiosity or spirituality, we integrate these aspects into our therapeutic approach, recognizing their vital role in holistic healing.

The hope…
My family wasn’t always as strong as it is now. In working with other families I saw so many struggle to connect, engage in a productive way, and stay united. I realized that what families need most is guidance and healing. Through this work I became self-aware of what I was doing to contribute to the disconnection and I made sure to change what I needed to change in me. Soon I saw how my new behaviors made a difference in those I loved most. I am determined to bring hope to families who’ve experienced challenges in letting them know there is another way to love and live.
